After years of dedication, leadership, and partnership, we say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Mike Darrow and the Darrow Group. Their commitment to excellence has left a lasting mark on the Byrider brand, and the contributions of the entire Darrow team will always be appreciated.
As we close this chapter, we’re thrilled to open a new one—welcoming two familiar faces into ownership: Jimmy Lee and Winston Sleeth. These longtime Byrider leaders bring deep experience, passion, and vision to their new roles, and we couldn’t be more excited for the future.

Meet the New Owners
Jimmy Lee
Jimmy joined Byrider in 2013, invited by his longtime friend Mike Darrow to help lead operations. With no prior experience in the automotive business, Jimmy dove in headfirst—learning fast, working hard, and quickly earning the respect of the entire Byrider network.
Before joining Byrider, Jimmy built a career as an options trader and hedge fund owner, operating out of Korea and Hong Kong. Today, he resides in Milwaukee, WI, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, catching Bucks and Packers games, and staying active.
Winston Sleeth
Winston’s Byrider journey began in 1999 after serving in the U.S. Air Force. Starting in the mailroom, Winston rose through the ranks with persistence and passion—earning his place through roles in finance, store management, regional operations, and senior leadership.
Now, with expanded ownership responsibilities, Winston brings a deep understanding of the business and a strong track record of success. He lives in Springfield, MO with his wife Elli and their three children—Austin, Delanee, and Ayla. In his spare time, Winston enjoys golfing, boating, and watching sports.
We’re confident that Jimmy and Winston will continue to build on the strong foundation laid by the Darrow Group and lead these Wisconsin locations to even greater success.
