INDIANAPOLIS – Byrider, one of America’s largest buy-here-pay-here used car dealerships and franchise systems, announced a new partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania. The partnership was announced via an online press conference by Byrider CEO, Craig Peters, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania President & CEO, Dr. Lisa Palmieri.

Byrider will work with members and staff at the clubs by providing mentoring and career development tools and opportunities for Club members and staff. This includes engagement with experienced professionals performing in a wide range of roles at Byrider, who can share their career experiences for soon-to-be career and education seekers, as well as career-coaching tools, like the use of The Predictive Index assessment. Additionally, Byrider employees will help support the Club on the Go program and has made a $10,000 contribution to the club as well.

Craig Peters, Byrider’s CEO and a Pittsburgh native said, “We at Byrider are very focused and excited about investing in the communities in which we operate. Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania is a key market for us and our associates in the region are eager to support the clubs going forward.”

“We are so grateful to Byrider and, in particular, their Western Pennsylvania associates, for partnering with us through volunteer efforts and their financial support,” said Dr. Palmieri. “We are excited to not only launch this partnership but expand it to connect our Career Works, youth workforce development teens to mentors at Byrider so they can explore careers and build future-ready skills like financial literacy. Relationships like the one with Byrider benefit our kids, their parents, and our team.”

This is the first of several upcoming partnership announcements for Byrider with regional Boys & Girls Clubs organizations as it continues to grow its community support efforts.
